Happy December! Excited to share some of our favorite holiday themed books with you. I absolutely love having themed books throughout our house for different holidays and seasons. Here’s a post about how I keep a book basket in our living room and rotate books throughout the year. It’s so simple but so much fun. Best part, my kids think they’re getting new books each time I swap them out. (In actuality, I store our holiday books in a bin in our basement!)

I keep our holiday themed books in three main places in our home: our living room book basket and then each of my kids’ rooms. The playroom houses all our other regular books in big baskets. When the kids get older and can read on their own, I will probably do fun bookshelves in our playroom with holiday books. Until then, I have them in their rooms to read before naps/bedtime.
Our living room book basket is one of my favorite things. I love encouraging my toddler to get a book or two when she’s looking for something to do and we read together on the floor or couch. When I swapped out the books a few days ago from Fall/Thanksgiving to Winter/Christmas, she was so pleased and thought she had a dozen new books.
I’m always on the lookout for new holiday or seasonal books to add to our collection. It’s actually one of the gift ideas I give our families most – we love books in this house!
