One year ago today I took six pregnancy tests, all positive. To some, six tests might seem like overkill or maybe even frivolous, but if you know our history at all, it might make a little more sense.
It was a Sunday and Michael had gone to church ahead of me that day, so as I sat next to him in service, I was keeping this huge secret that I couldn’t wait to share. The message that day was about miracles. You can’t make this stuff up. When we finally made it back home together, I gave him a note saying: let’s not waste this miracle.
Truth be told, we didn’t know what would happen. We prayed SO hard that we would get to meet this baby, our third, but we just didn’t know. My emotions were all over the place for the next eight months, but we continued to pray, to hope, and to be thankful.
232 days later, we got to meet our miracle and our world will never be the same. 💕

A week late on this “official” photo since we were out of town last week, but felt it was fitting on the morning of her 4 month appointment (😭💉😑)

4️⃣ months with this angel and this has for sure been the most fun. If you haven’t seen my stories lately, it’s safe to say Kennedy has found her voice... we are loving her talking, smiling, happy self more and more each day! ❤️
