I don’t know about yall but I love a good summery drink and as someone who doesn’t drink alcohol that often, I’m all for a booze-free option, too! It’s been CRAZY hot here lately and I have a lot of pregnant friends right now, so I’m always up for trying a cold and yummy summer drink that doesn’t have to have alcohol. Check these fun drinks out and let me know if you try any!
Who doesn’t love a good lemonade during the hot summer months?! I’m all for a flavored lemonade and this recipe is about as tasty and simple as they come. Perfect for a bbq or picnic! The photo above and the recipe are both from Reluctant Entertainer.
There are few things more refreshing than fresh mint in my opinion. I love a regular mojito but this recipe just basically takes out the rum to leave you with a minty and bubbly drink! Sort of like lemonade but with a fun little twist. The above photo and the recipe are both from skinnytaste.
BLACKBERRY LEMON MOCKTAIL
If you love a fruity and tangy drink, I’d give this one a go for sure! Another fun twist to a lemonade style beverage, this one is perfect for a hot, summery day. It also looks so pretty and would be a fun drink to serve at a party or even a baby shower! The above photo and the recipe are both from The Merrythought.
GRAPEFRUIT AND ROSEMARY MOCKTAIL
I made this mocktail for a baby shower a couple years ago and it was SO good. I absolutely love grapefruit anything, so this was right up my alley. The recipe is super basic and would make a great addition to any girly get-together this summer! The above photo and the recipe are both from TheCasualCraftlete (Purely Katie).
WATERMELON AGUA FRESCA
If you’re a watermelon lover, this one is for you! Watermelon is so good for you and is super thirst quenching this time of year when the weather is so hot. The recipe also talks about serving this with fish tacos and now my mouth is watering… The above photo and the recipe are both from skinnytaste.
Any other brunch fans out there? It is pretty rare for me to turn down a mimosa but if you’re pregnant or not drinking, this virgin option is perfect for you. Five simple ingredients and you’ll have a booze-free drink you can serve the whole family at breakfast! The above photo and the recipe are both from Reluctant Entertainer.
MOSCOW MULE MOCKTAIL
I don’t usually drink a ton of cocktails - I’m basically a champagne and margarita kind of gal - but I do love a moscow mule! I actually ordered this virgin version several times while pregnant with Kennedy last year and it truly does taste almost identical to the real deal! The above photo and the recipe are both from The Merrythought.
Have a great start to your week, everyone!!
