Woohoo for the weekend! Can yall believe it's March 2nd?! I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around how fast February flew by, so today I wanted to reflect a little and share some of last month's highlights!
Fun tassel earrings from Madewell
This great transitional Shein sweater you saw earlier this week ;)
Juice Beauty CC Cream - I've been trying out some cleaner beauty products this month and so far I'm really liking this CC cream for everyday, lightweight coverage.
"The Bible Binge" - a new podcast that just launched a couple weeks ago from the creators and hosts of "The Popcast". It's just as fun and entertaining!
Castle of Water by Dane Huckelbridge
This long sleeve tunic from Amazon
Nordstrom's High Rise Leggings
Another Amazon favorite was this open front cardigan
Old Navy's Boatneck Tunic Sweater *also one of MY favorites! :)
Some fun Valentine's Gift Guides (his & hers plus for your galentine). The best part about these are that all the items shared would be great gifts for really anything! So do you have a birthday coming up? Want to put something fun in your kids' Easter baskets? Planning ahead for a graduate? Take a second peak and see what you can snag for those fun events coming up this spring!
My 2018 Sundance Film Festival recap and guide. I get a TON of questions each time we go out to Sundance, especially when we're out there for the film festival, so I thought writing a blog post telling you a little bit more about what we do exactly and sharing the films I saw this year would be fun. Seemed to be a post yall liked and hopefully it answered your most burning questions!
My First Time Shopping with Shein also seemed to be a bit hit earlier this week. Shein is an online retailer that you've either heard of and thought twice about OR it's a place you didn't even know existed online! I hope you now have a few more thoughts about what Shein really is and how I try to shop for items on their site knowing what I know now.
This Instagram post featuring the cutest hat and best city ever... ;)
I didn't do nearly as much travel this month as I did in January, which honestly is totally fine by me! We did finish out the month up north together in Minneapolis for a quick one-night trip though. And all the praise hands for NOT having subarctic temperatures while there! We're planning a pretty big and fun trip for 2018 though that I can't wait to tell yall more about once we finalize some more plans...
We had lots of fun celebrations this month including Valentine's Day and two special birthdays - a friend's 30th and my mother-in-law's bday, too. I also got to go to some fun shopping events with my friends at La Ville and Evereve this month. If you've never shopped at either of their stores, what are you waiting for?!
One other fun thing I did in February was a month-long study of the book of Proverbs. It was one of my resolutions this year to do a study each month, and the Proverbs one by She Reads Truth happened to be exactly 28 days long - perfect! I invited my Instagram followers to join in on this and several of them participated, which was so cool.
I'm planning on keeping this up and would love for you to join us. If you're interested in being part of the March study, be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for those updates! I'm sharing this month's new study plan today... :)
The MAJOR Shopbop sale going on right now that I posted about on Wednesday... there's just a couple more days of savings left and if you didn't already see the blog post, I'm sharing A TON of favorite picks. (Most of which are springy because let's be real, I'm ready for more sunshine!)
Posts and updates on social media. Not everything I post about on Insta will always make it onto the blog (like my monthly Bible study for instance) so be sure to follow along there for the latest. Facebook is another resource I'm using more and more to share exclusive things throughout the day. And finally, Pinterest. My love! If you love browsing Pinterest as much as I do, let's be friends!
So here's to the weekend and a brand new month!
