Happy Friday! And Happy February! Is anyone else so relieved the weekend is finally here?! This was a short week for us considering we just got back from vacation, but it's been a crazy few days and I'm already ready for a break haha.
Today I want to share some of my favorite things with yall, because it is Friday after all, while also just recapping the month of January. It was a super busy and exciting month with lots of great outfits, posts, travel and fun!
Capital Gaines by Chip Gaines
Mophie Juice Pack Charging Case (got this before traveling to Utah and it is a LIFE SAVER!)
"Dirty John" and "Missing Richard Simmons" podcasts - binged them both in January!
Arctic Fleece Vest - This was by far the most purchased item from my Instagram/blog this month, and for good reason! This is hands down the softest and warmest vest I've ever owned. Good news, if you haven't gotten it yet, now's the time... it's currently on sale! :) Seen styled here.
Zella Live In Leggings - Probably my personal favorite purchase of the month are these leggings, but it seems like yall loved them, too. These are so comfortable, really suck and pull everything in nice and tight and can be dressed up or down. I've worn them with a zillion different looks so far this year and think I need to get a second or third pair for rotation! See them styled here, here and here.
Gemstone iPhone Case - Michael got me this for Christmas and a ton of yall purchased after seeing it in this Instagram pic. I love the muted colors and pattern of this case. It's so feminine and simple, totally my style!
Half-Zip Sherpa Pullover - This cozy pullover was a hit with yall in Dec and Jan. It's a perfect item for the colder months and comes in a ton of good colors. It keeps selling out, so if you don't see the color/size you want, check back soon. I finally got the color I wanted (mauve) after stalking A&F's website for like two weeks haha.
Born 'Gallinara' OTK Boots - Wore these like crazy this month and yall responded well! They've sold out on a ton of sites, but I found them at 6pm for you if you still want to purchase. See them worn here and here.
This Instagram post where I shared the real and raw emotions of loss and why this month was a hard one for us. The outpouring of love I felt from this post honestly brought me to tears. I lost count of the personal messages I received from women and families who have walked a similar road to ours. I don't take any of that for granted and am continually so honored and humbled each and every time that someone shares something personal back with me.
"Let's Talk Self Love" - Talk about LOVE! This post had the most incredible response and love from yall. The comments, DMs, Facebook messages etc that I received from this single post are 100% why I wanted to start this blog. I kid you not, when dreaming about this idea a year and a half (or more) ago with Michael, I told him I just wanted to be able to use my voice and any platform I'd be given to love others and point them to Jesus. Yall are making that possible for me and it's the most humbling and exciting thing ever.
"LIKEtoKNOW.it App Explained" - This was a fun and educational post! I get a lot of questions about LIKEtoKNOW.it and the rewardStyle platform, so I thought it would be good to take a minute to further explain what those things actually are, how they work, and how they'll make your life a heck of a lot easier if you like to shop the outfits/items of your favorite influencers!
"Amazon Fashion with Thriving Home" - My January collaborative post with the ladies over at Thriving Home blog was all about why and how to shop fashion items on Amazon. It was really fun to write and share this info, because I think many people are pretty surprised to hear the brands and goodies you can actually find on their site. Be sure to hop over and give it a read and show my friends, Polly & Rachel, some love!
Michael and I spent NYE/New Year's Day in Chicago, which was SO fun and also SO cold!
And as you've probably already seen or heard, we just got back from Sundance, Utah with the Jordan family. Our trip was so amazing! We were attending the Sundance Film Festival as well as getting in some time on the ski slopes... I'll be sure to post a full recap of our trip in the near future, but for now, here are some of my favorite pics.
Cheers to the weekend and a new month! Enjoy and talk soon...
